Biografía Alejandro Vivanco

Alejandro se envuelve en la emergente escena electrónica chilena de comienzos de los 90’s y da sus primeros pasos como Dj y la producción musical. Desde al 2001 es residente del club mas importante de Chile Club la feria y no tomó mucho tiempo en lograr un gran reconocimiento en la escena sudamericana. Desde ese momento no a parado de estar presente en los grandes clubes de América y Europa gracias a casi una veintena de Single y Eps desde el 2004 hasta hoy, bajo sellos como Get Physical,Cadenza,Supernature,Fumakilla,Dumb unit,Kahlwild,Andes Music ,por nombrar algunos. Sus trabajos han sido seleccionados por la mejores compilaciones de música electrónica del mundo, tales como en dos oportunidades por Cocoon Records Green & Blue Ricardo Villalobos & Loco dice 2xCdmix y The sound of eight season por el mismo Sven Väth ademas de Tania Vulcano para Circoloco Azuli Rec , Audiofly Undulation 2 para Saw records de Satoshi Tomiie,Luciano para Cadenza contemporay 01 y Sci.Fi.Hi.Fi en Soma records, Radio Slave Mish Mash Cdmix Fine records,Dominic Eulberg Kreucht & Fleuch 2xCdmix. El nuevo trabajo de Alejandro será proximamente editado por el sello 8bit records de Alemania propiedad de Gorge y Nick Curly , ademas otro E.p. por Viva Music del consagrado Steve Lawler.

Alejandro was born in Viña del Mar, Chile. Since he was a child, he was close to music because his father used to play tenor sax and was the owner of a huge jazz records collection. At the early age of 7 years, he used to spend many hours in front of the stereo.

when he became a teenager, he started palying electric guitar in several school bands, influenced by the music of bands like Sonic Youth, Jesus & Mary chain and Pixies, among others.

In 1993, with 3 friends, he creates the band «Pequeñas Particulas» cult band in the underground scene of Valparaiso and participates as bass player for 7 years. Simultaneously, in 1996 he his interests in experimentation in sound, gets him closer to machines, creating his solo project Telepong, letting us know his taste for Detroit  & Acid House.

Alejandro gets involved and atracted by the emerging electronic chilean scene and step ahead to the turntables, and didn’t take him to much time to be highly recognized and respected as a great Dj.

Since 2001, he is resident of the club La Feria, in Santiago and has been exposing his music, that walks in between precise rythms and radical sound contrasts, making his grooves reacher in every composition.
